IMF head denied bail on sex-assault charges
Strauss-Kahn may face a new complaint from a French writer

LONDON (MarketWatch) — International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn was held without bail Monday after he was arrested over the weekend and charged with the attempted rape, sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment of a New York hotel maid.
Judge Melissa Jackson of Manhattan Criminal Court backed prosecutors’ contention that Strauss-Kahn poses a flight risk and he is scheduled to reappear in court May 20, according to reports. Article here
